I’ve put together a selection of printable camping bingo cards that are sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike. Be sure to scroll down to get your free printable camping bingo cards.

How to Play Camping Bingo

To play, each player will need a copy of the bingo card. The caller will then draw objects from the bag, and call out the items as they are drawn. Players will mark off the items on their cards as they are called. The first player to achieve a bingo (5 in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins the game!

If you are playing with younger kids, you may want to give them a little help by also calling out the category of each object as it is drawn (e.g. “animal”, “tent”, “sleeping bag”, etc.).

Blackout bingo is another fun way to play – the first player to mark off all of the items on their card wins!

Ways to make Camping Bingo even more fun!

If you want to make the game even more challenging (and fun!), try playing with two bingo cards at a time. This is especially great for older kids and adults who are looking for a little extra challenge.

Another way to switch things up is to play blind bingo. To do this, simply put a piece of tape over the bingo card so that players can’t see the images. This adds an element of memory to the game as players have to remember which images are where on their card.

And finally, for a really unique twist on the game, try playing reverse bingo. In this version, players mark off the items that are *not* called instead of the ones that are. This is a great way to test your memory and see who can pay the best attention!

Other games to play around the campfire

Once you’ve had your fill of bingo, there are plenty of other games to keep the fun going around the campfire. Check out these ideas:

I Spy: A classic game that’s perfect for a camping setting. One player picks an object and gives clues to the others about what it is. The first person to guess correctly gets to pick the next object.

20 Questions: Another classic game that’s perfect for a campfire setting. One player thinks of an object, and the others take turns asking up to 20 questions to try to figure out what it is.

Campfire Stories: Take turns telling stories around the campfire. The only rule is that they have to be spooky!

Two Truths and a Lie: One player makes three statements, two of which are true and one of which is a lie. The others have to guess which statement is the lie.

What am I?: One player thinks of an animal, object, or person, and the others take turns asking yes or no questions to try to figure out what it is.
