Word scrambles are a great way to get your kids thinking and sharpening their problem-solving skills. Plus, it’s always fun to try and unscramble words that have been randomly jumbled up! With this Valentine’s Day themed printable, you can make sure the activity remains festive and fun.
How to Play?
The rules for this game are simple: all you need is the printable, a pen or pencil and some willing participants! Print out the word scramble worksheet on any standard letter-sized paper. Then hand it out to each player and have them unscramble as many of the words as they can.
You can separate your guests into teams or let them play individually. Then give them each a marker (or two) and tell them they have three minutes to unscramble as many words as possible before time runs out.
Whoever unscrambles the most wins!
If playing in teams, whoever has the most points at the end wins! As an added bonus, write down any funny misunderstandings that come up during gameplay for extra laughs later on in the evening!
