This month is Mental Health Awareness Month, and one way to help promote mental wellness is by tracking your habits! These free printable habit trackers are perfect for helping you keep track of your daily, weekly, or monthly habits.

I personally love using a habit tracker because it helps me to be more mindful of my actions and also provides a visual representation of my progress. Not only that, but it’s also really satisfying to see those little checkmarks fill up the page!

Benefits of tracking your habits

Helps to increase self-awareness- When you track your habits, it helps you to become more aware of your patterns and behaviors. This can be beneficial in helping you to make changes in your life if you want to, or it can simply help you to understand yourself better.

Provides motivation- Seeing progress is a great motivator! If you’re struggling to stick with a habit, looking at your habit tracker can help to give you that extra push you need to keep going.

Helps to hold you accountable- If you’re accountable to yourself for tracking your habits, it may be easier to stick with them. After all, it’s much harder to ignore a habit when you’re seeing it in writing (or digitally) every day!

How to use a habit tracker

There are many different ways that you can use a habit tracker. The most important part is to find a system that works for you!

Some people like to track their habits on a daily basis, while others prefer to do it weekly or monthly. There is no right or wrong way to do it- it’s all about what works best for you.

If you’re not sure where to start, I recommend trying out a few different methods and seeing what feels most comfortable.

One way to use a habit tracker is to simply list out the habits you want to track, and then check them off each day as you complete them. This is a great method if you want to keep things simple!

Another way to use a habit tracker is to set up a points system. For example, you could give yourself 1 point for every day that you stick to your habit. At the end of the week or month, you can tally up your points to see how well you did.

You could also use a habit tracker to track your progress over time. For example, if you’re trying to quit smoking, you could track the number of cigarettes you smoke each day. Or if you’re trying to eat healthier, you could track the number of fruits and vegetables you eat each day.
