Tips for using Queen Esther Printables
When introducing the printables to kids, be sure to explain the story of Queen Esther in simple terms. Talk about why she was brave and how her courage saved many lives. This will help them understand the significance behind each activity and make it more meaningful for them.
Additionally, take time to talk about each character featured in the printable and explain why they were important. This will help kids gain a better understanding of the story as they work on the activities. Finally, be sure to encourage everyone to complete the activities in their own way so that each creation is unique and special!
Though I do love using printables to assist with the teaching of scripture, I don’t encourage relying solely on them. It’s important for kids to have a solid foundation and understanding of the story before engaging in any activities. This can be achieved through reading the actual Bible passage, discussing it together as a group, and asking open-ended questions to promote critical thinking.
There are wonderful youth Bibles available that are specifically designed to help children understand the stories and teachings of the Bible in a fun and engaging way. Some even have games, quizzes, and discussion points for each story.
