Kite Craft for Preschool (Free Printable Template)

Sharing is caring!

Spring is the perfect time to add bright, creative crafts to your preschool activities, and this kite craft for preschool is a fun way to celebrate the season. I created this free printable kite craft template so children can build a colorful kite while also practicing important early learning skills.

This printable kite craft for preschool can be used in two different ways. Children can simply decorate and assemble a kite for a fun spring craft, or they can turn it into a build a name activity using the bow pieces on the kite tail. Each bow contains a letter, allowing children to spell their name in a creative and hands-on way.

To make the activity even easier for teachers and parents, I included both black and white and color versions of the craft. The colored version includes bright kite designs and alphabet bows in four colors so kids can mix and match while building their name.

This activity works wonderfully for preschool classrooms, homeschooling families, and spring craft time at home.
