Teaching children the Fruit of the Spirit is a wonderful way to help them understand how God wants us to live. Galatians 5:22–23 reminds us that love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are gifts of the Holy Spirit. But sometimes, kids need hands-on activities to really connect with these biblical truths.
That’s why I created this Fruit of the Spirit Workbook—a fun, engaging, and faith-filled printable activity pack designed to help children learn, understand, and live out each of the fruits in their everyday lives.
And the best part? I’m giving you 5 free worksheets right here on the blog! You can download them instantly and start teaching today.

How to Use these Fruit of the Spirit Printables

There are so many ways to use these printables at home, in church, or in the classroom:
- Homeschool Bible Lessons – Incorporate them into your weekly curriculum.
- Sunday School – Use coloring pages, games, or memory cards for small group activities.
- Family Devotions – Reflect on one fruit each week with journaling prompts.
- Christian Teachers – Add them to your classroom resources for a faith-based learning environment.
Why Teach the Fruit of the Spirit with Printables?

Hands-on activities help children move beyond just hearing scripture to actually living it out. When kids color, trace, play word games, and create crafts about how they can show love, patience, or kindness, it becomes more than words—it becomes part of their character.
These printables are designed to make learning fun, interactive, and memorable while rooting children in biblical truth.

Fruit of the Spirit Crafts for Kids
Pairing worksheets with hands-on crafts is a wonderful way to reinforce the Fruit of the Spirit lessons. Here are a few easy craft ideas you can try alongside the workbook:
- Fruit of the Spirit Paper Plate Craft – Have kids draw or glue pictures of each fruit (real fruit or symbolic) onto a paper plate and write the matching “fruit” of the Spirit around the edge.
- Fruit of the Spirit Bracelet – Use nine different colors of beads, each representing one fruit of the Spirit. As kids string them together, review the meaning of each. You can use bracelet kits and make it a fun family craft or hobby.
- Tree of the Spirit Craft – Cut out a tree trunk and branches from construction paper, then have children add colorful paper “fruit” with each of the nine Spirit-filled traits written on them.
- Fruit Basket Collage – Provide fruit cutouts or magazines for kids to glue into a basket template, then label each with a fruit of the Spirit.
- Kindness Rocks – Paint small rocks with words like “love,” “joy,” or “peace” and encourage children to place them in spots where others can find them as a way to share encouragement. This glow in the dark kit is a fun crafts kids can keep by their beds.
These crafts work beautifully as a group activity in Sunday school or as a family project at home to help kids remember and live out what they’ve learned
